Writer's Retreat 2014!

Wow!  What an incredible weekend!  And thank you, Wendy Swore, for the awesome excuse to go and write to my heart's content!  I believe there was 22 authors in all that were there at the Authors Incognito Writer's Retreat 2014, and all made it an amazing experience, just like last year at my first retreat.  

A cabin, friends and fellow authors, great food, and a great view--all attached to TIME to write. It was an adventure.  I was able to pump out 21,000 words, lost 2300 of them, but was able to recover by writing up an outline of what went missing...the only downfall to writing till you are bleary-eyed.  :)  It was all worth it.  Now Book Three in The Huntington Saga Series Novels is about 1/3 of the way complete.  I moved the deadline to spring, since I know it won't be done this month, so put it on your calendars, folks!  

Here's to the beautiful stories out there in the world yet to consume!  I love reading, so here's to all of you awesome authors out there!

Look at my new Book Covers!

Yes, its been a while since I've been on here.  Several reasons, but I won't go into that right now, but let's just say I'm doing much better and am almost finished with my cough...*cough*...and I have been working feverishly on (well, my friend has...) new book covers for my series, The Huntington Saga Series Novels.  Five books in all with two published.  But these three have yet to be published.  I'm working on Elspeth was her Name right now and have actually several chapters done on Creighton's Daughter as well.  Hope you're all up to some more reading!

A year ago...

I completely forgot that yesterday was the one year anniversary of the release of The Governess! Hooray! And what a year it's been!

And now that I've said that, off I go to work on completing more of Pirate Bride! 

I'm really hopeful that this next school year, my son will be back in regular school. I'll miss that personal time with him tremendously, for its been an eye-opening experience and has brought us closer together than ever. However, I'm ready for a break! And I will use my time to write, write, write!

I've tentatively scheduled Book Three in The Huntington Saga Series Novels to be released by this fall of 2014! I think with a summer to write, I can do it. If not, you'll be the first to know. Book Four is tentatively scheduled for release spring of 2015. 

And now...for those of you who've been following this series, I've decided to create a Book Five. I had a moment recently that I just felt that Jonathon's story needed to be told as well. So little Jonathon, all grown up, will be the new conclusion to this series. :) I hope you like that.

Gearing Up to Release THE GOVERNESS in One Volume--With NEW Chapters!! :)

Just thought I'd let you all know its in the works, anyway...

I've had so many readers request more about Carly and Creighton's wedding...so I thought I might as well give you more, especially since I've combined all the volumes into one easy read.  Kind of a gift to my readers, you could say.  :)

I’ll let you know when the big day is to come!  Right now, I still have much to do.
