I've known and been a fan of this author for quite a few years. Being familiar with her favorite genre, this was a completely new avenue. Being a follower of The Walking Dead, I was prepared. Although the level of horrific blood and gore is toned down, the evidence of and reactions to the 'undead' are alive and well. I was impressed at the fluidity, and encourage any and all ages to pick this up. Ellise, my friend, you've done it again, can't wait for the next installment.
I really enjoyed this book and cannot wait for more. Love the historical romance with a twist. Sometimes you need that.
I love the feel of the matte cover. It feels like its made of rubber! :) And the cream colored pages are just right for the time period. Love it!
